Griswold Model 811 ANSI Centrifugal Pumps
For Process Industry Applications
Griswold Pump offers the Model 811 , a quality engineered centrifugal pump that meets ANSI standards for the chemical process industry. The Model 811 is designed for exceptional performance and reliability under a wide variety of fluid handling conditions.
The full open impeller , heavy casing , and other design features allow the Model 811 to continue performing long after other ANSI pumps wear out or break down.

GRISWOLD'S Model 811 ANSI Standard Dimensiosns
Replaceable Adapters Extra Heavy Casings
Standard on all models. Bearing remains closed when adapter is removed, preventing bearing contamination. 300 lb. ANSI thickness extends life under corrosive
and erosive conditions when used on 150 lb.
ANSI applications.
Oil Lubrication Standard Replaceable Shaft Sleeve Standard
  • Large sight glass for checking oil level.
  • Cooling jacket to control bearing temperature on high-temperature applications.
  • Hook-type sleeve is free to expand with tem-perature changes.
  • Sleeve simplifies maintenance. Sealing surface can be renewed without shaft and bearing disassembly.
Shaft and Bearings Fully Open Impeller
Engineered for long bearing and seal life under extreme hydraulic loads. Includes back pump-out vanes. Open construc-tion
for low-thrust loads. Adjustable to original performance.
Open impeller is far superior to closed impeller for corrosive and erosive fluids.
External Clearance Adjustment Impeller Mounting
High performance easily maintained without shimming. Open-end wrench quickly sets or maintains clearances. Adjustment for wear area loss does not require shop maintenance as with closed impellers. Self-tightening. No bolt to corrode or gasket to leak.
Metal-to-metal contact assures true running and proper transmittal of torque and alignment. Contained o-ring provides positive seal for liquids.
Bearing Frame Sealing Flexibility
Remains sealed when adapter is removed.
Extra assemblies can be maintained seal-ready for many size adapters.
Seal chambers and stuffing boxes machined for packing, component seals or cartridge seals.

  INCREASED CAPABILITY
FOR REDUCEDVOLUMES

Standard ANSI pumps (with expanding
style volute casing) are not designed for
low flow, high head applications: the
excessive radial loads and shaft vibration
experienced can shorten bearing and seal
life. Griswold’s Model 811LF series is
designed with a circular concentric casing
in conjunction with a radial vane
impeller to reduce those excessive radial
loads and minimize shaft deflection, thus
extending MTBPM.

  1.CIRCULAR CONCENTRIC VOLUTE CASING:
The fully machined concentric volute reduces excessive
radial loads experienced in low flow, high head
applications. Shaft vibration and deflection is minimized,
extending bearing and mechanical seal life.
Class 150 raised face flanges are standard
with the Model 811LF series for positive sealing.
Class 300 raised face flanges are available
as an option.
2. LOW FLOW RADIAL VANE IMPELLER:
Griswold’s radial vane impellers are specially
designed to reduce the thrust load and seal
chamber pressure normally associated with
low flow applications. When operating in
reduced volume conditions, the low flow
impeller’s vanes provide better hydraulic control
than traditional ANSI impellers. Balance
holes reduce both axial thrust and seal chamber
pressure, extending bearing and seal life.
  3. 811LF PERFORMANCE:
With a traditional ANSI pump, throttling or recirculating flow to attain low flow conditions causes excessive radial load and shaft deflection—all of which can result in premature failure to bearings and mechanical seals.
Griswold 811LF pumps feature flow capacities as low as 4 GPM, and heads as high as 550'—low flow/high head performance you can count on to further extend your MTBPM.
4. RETROFITTING:
Griswold Model 811LF pumps are ANSI dimensional, so they can be installed without piping or base changes to existing equipment. In fact, since all other parts and features are identical/interchangeable within the entire
811 ANSI line, the 811LF case and impeller can be
easily retrofitted to an existing Griswold pump as well as 100,000s of other ANSI pumps already in service!

E, F & G SERIES END-SUCTION CLOSE COUPLED OR FRAME MOUNTED CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS

E,F,& G Series Close Coupled

Designed for capacities up to 3000 GPM and heads to 330 feet, GRISWOLD E, F & G Series centrifugal pumps can be close coupled, flexible-coupled to electric motors, engines or steam turbines.  They can also be belt driven.

E,F,& G Series Frame Mounted

E, F & G Series pumps are ideal for a wide variety of liquid pump applications, including crop and turf irrigation, water parks, swimming pools, fountains, air conditioning, water supply systems, and many other general industrial applications.

Griswold Vertical Turbine Pumps  Submersible Turbine Pumps
Griswold Vertical Turbine Pumps are available with two types of pump drives vertical hollow shaft electric motor drive or right angle gear drive. Our turbine pumps offer you a choice of two types of lubrication either a water lubricated line shaft or an oil lubricated line shaft construction.

Submersible Turbine Pumps
are designed for a wide variety of applications farm, home, fountains, irrigation, industry, municipal and commercial use.
Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps
GRISWOLD self-priming centrifugal pumps are designed
for a variety of applications. For example, they can be used for draining barges and tank cars dewatering mines or underground storage facilities.  Homeowners use them
for sprinkler systems and swimming pools.  When it comes to moving water from one place to another, there’s no end to the jobs that a GRISWOLD Self-Priming Pump can handle!
